Medicine That Actually Has Time for You

Phoenix Integrative Concierge Medicine (PICM) is built on a simple premise: exceptional care requires time, access, and continuity. Our limited-membership model exists to protect all three. Your physician carries a deliberately small panel of patients — which means they know your history, your goals, and your full picture without having to glance at a chart to remember who you are.

How It Works — And Why It's Different

You pay a flat monthly membership fee. In return, you get direct, unhurried access to your physician — not a portal, not a nurse line, not a 10-minute appointment slot.

Traditional insurance-based practices are built around volume. More patients means more billing, which means less time per visit. By operating independently, Phoenix Integrative Concierge Medicine (PICM) can structure care around what actually matters — not what an insurance contract requires.

  • Extended, unhurried appointment times

  • Same or next business day scheduling for acute concerns

  • Limited patient panel, intentionally capped

  • Direct, secure communication with your physician

  • Prevention and long-term health as the primary focus

  • Coordinated specialist care, managed by a single physician

  • Telehealth access when clinically appropriate

  • Care designed to get ahead of problems, not just respond to them

This model allows medicine to be practiced deliberately.

Fee covers enhanced access, extended visit time, direct communication, and wellness services that go beyond what standard insurance-based care provides — including same-day scheduling, secure direct messaging, and proactive health planning. Medically necessary services (office visits, labs, imaging, specialist care) continue to be billed separately to your insurance or invoiced directly, depending on your coverage. Members remain responsible for all applicable copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.

These programs are not currently available to Medicare beneficiaries. Please contact us to discuss your options or to be added to our notification list.

Superbills: For clinical services rendered, PICM can provide an itemized superbill on request. You may submit this to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan. We make no guarantee of reimbursement and recommend contacting your insurer to confirm your out-of-network benefits before enrollment.

Payment and Coverage

INSURANCE, HSA & FSA

Phoenix Integrative Concierge Medicine (PICM) does not bill insurance for membership fees. However, many members use HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds to cover membership costs — check with your plan administrator, as eligibility varies. Superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement for clinical services.

DO I STILL NEED INSURANCE?

Yes. Membership does not replace comprehensive health insurance. It supplements it. You'll still need coverage for hospital care, emergency services, specialist fees, imaging, and most laboratory costs. Phoenix Integrative Concierge Medicine (PICM) membership is your primary care layer — thoughtful, coordinated, and accessible.

TRANSPARENCY ABOUT COVERAGE

Membership does not replace health insurance and does not cover the following services. These are billed separately — either through your insurance carrier or invoiced directly. What's not included:

  • Hospital services and inpatient care

  • Emergency department visits

  • Imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound)

  • Specialist office visit fees

  • Laboratory fees (unless otherwise specified)

  • Prescription medications

Common Questions

1 / Do you accept insurance?

No. Phoenix Integrative Concierge Medicine (PICM) operates independently and does not bill insurance for membership fees or most clinical services. This independence allows us to structure care around your needs rather than insurance requirements. Superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

2 / What happens when the founding panel is full?

Once our initial panel reaches capacity, founding membership pricing will close. New inquiries will be offered standard membership at $450/month as space permits. Enrollment may pause entirely when the panel is full and reopen as availability allows. We do not maintain a formal waitlist at this time.

3 / Why is there a monthly membership fee if you also bill for services?

The membership fee covers enhanced access and services that fall outside standard insurance coverage — including same-day scheduling, direct physician communication, extended visits, proactive wellness planning, and care coordination. Separately billed services are medically necessary clinical encounters, which are handled through your insurance or invoiced directly.
